Go Girl Sport- Tuxedo Skort Review.

Go Girl Sport- Tuxedo Skort

First I would love to thank Susan from Go Sports Wear for contacting me to review one of her products!
I was lucky enough to receive the Tuxedo Skort!  I will admit that I have always afraid of the running skort!  Last summer I bit the bullet and bought one.  I don’t like it at all.  It’s heavy and not that flattering to tell you the truth. I was willing to give another one a try though; especially after seeing it on the website.  It was so cute that I figured – why not??
I was surprised at how lightweight and airy it is.   I was already liking it in comparison to my other skort!   Due to the cold, cold winter here in Michigan, I wasn’t able (refused!) to wear it outdoors to run in, but I did try it indoors.  I did an exercise DVD that was cardio based. I am a sweater ( read: I pour sweat like a dude).  This skort did not disappoint. The tag on it reads: This Go Girl garment is lovingly made with a combination of the highest quality moisture management available.  It holds true to its labeling!   Even though I was hot and sweaty, the skort did not feel heavy and weighed down.
From the website:
Go Girl Sport provides quality products with the highest level of function and fashion.  Our apparel is designed, created, and tested by women for women so that you can play hard and look FABULOUS doing it!
The appearance of the skort is great.  I will admit that at first glance, the skort seemed rather short. OK, it’s short for me. BUT, it is so flattering and you only live once right!!??  Right.  I can’t wait to be able to test it out again in the spring.   As a size reference…I usually wear a 4-6 and the Small in this skort fit me well.  It was very comfortable and the boy shorts did not ride up at all.  That is a very important selling point for me!m There is nothing worse than uncomfortable running clothes.
From the website:
Don’t save this skirt for a black tie event! The Tuxedo Skort is great for racing, hiking or kickin’ it at the gym – and destined to be a staple in your athletic wear wardrobe. This flattering design features a low-rise waistline with a wide band to keep things smooth. Front and back mesh panels will keep you cool and pique the interest of those around you. Attached 3″ inseam boy short has offset seams, sewn outward to avoid chafing.
I feel this skort will be flattering and appealing to most body types.   I especially love the Go Girl Sport logo on the back; it makes the butt look nice! 🙂 There is nothing wrong with that.  I am fairly simple with my color choices, and I love black and white anything! I was happy to see that since I received this skort in December, there are some more colors to choose from: Fuchsia, Jade, Purple and Rose.   If I were to choose a different color it would for sure be purple!
If you are not in the market for a skort that’s OK.  Go Sports Wear has more to offer.  There are many accessories and sporty tops to choose from. I am sure you will find something that suits your needs.  If you do, be sure to use coupon code 20SHEGO to get 20% off your entire purchase. (Thanks Susan!).  Also, head on over to Go Girl Sport on Facebook and say hello!
I give the Go Girl Sport Tuxedo skort 2 thumbs up!  🙂

  1. I wish I could wear a running skirt – they look so cute on everybody else – but I just haven’t found the right one yet. That one looks really cute!

By the way, I sweat like CRAZY too! It’s embarassing sometimes, but I just tell myself it’s cuz I’m working so hard! 🙂

    • You can wear a running skirt!! Trust me…… 🙂 I agree you must find the right one.
I used to think there was something WRONG with me because I sweat so much. I now know that it is a good sign . Yup! 😉
